04Format

How the program works.

Each week follows the same rhythm: premium digital content to view at your convenience, a prescribed reflection to ground it, and a live workshop with Daniel to embed it. Six weeks. Six capabilities.

  • A self-paced digital module

    Each week opens with 30–40 minutes of premium, professionally produced facilitation, written and recorded specifically for this program. Not a video library. A deliberate sequence, designed to elicit insight.

  • A prescribed reflection practice

    A structured reflection moves the material from idea into your own life, surfacing where the capability already lives in your decisions, tensions and patterns, so you arrive at the live session with real material to work with.

  • A live workshop with Daniel

    Each week you’ll participate in a live workshop facilitated by Daniel MacPhail. This is where the work meets your actual situations. Not Q&A, but real-time practice that embeds the capability you’ve just spent the week with.

  • Rolling, non-sequential structure

    The six capabilities cycle continuously. You join the one being facilitated the week you enrol and continue through the remaining five as they come around, working alongside people at different points in the same practice, not a fixed cohort moving in lockstep.

The Six Capabilities

Modules on the left develop your capacity for Clarity: knowing what’s yours, and acting from it. Modules on the right develop your capacity for Awareness: reading what’s happening in the room and in yourself.

Each capability is the practical work of staying inside a tension, rather than resolving it or escaping it.

  1. The way you operate now was shaped long before you chose it. This capability gives you a clear read on the patterns you inherited: what they were for, where they came from, and where they still drive your decisions. You stop confusing learned behaviour with who you are, and start choosing from a wider field than the one you were handed.

  2. Under pressure, you act from your head and miss what the rest of you already knows. This capability rebuilds reliable contact with the signals you’ve been overriding: tension, hesitation, fatigue, the quiet sense that something is off. You start catching information early, which means you respond to what’s actually happening, not to what you assumed.

  3. Most of us were trained to move past difficulty quickly. The cost is decisions made to escape discomfort rather than address it. This capability builds the steadiness to stay with what’s present (frustration, ambivalence, uncertainty) long enough to read it accurately. You stop reacting to your own discomfort and start using it as information.

  4. The behaviours that keep repeating (over-functioning, withdrawing, accommodating, controlling) are old strategies that once kept something safe. This capability helps you see them clearly without shame, and judge them on current terms: still useful, or now expensive. You stop running protective patterns by default and start choosing your response.

  5. There is a difference between what you think you should want and what you actually value. This capability helps you locate the second and stay close to it when conditions push. You get clear on what is yours to carry, what is yours to decide, and what belongs to someone else. Your decisions begin to hold up outside the room they were made in.

  6. Self-Trust is not confidence. It is the willingness to act on your own judgement before approval, certainty or guarantees arrive, and to stay with the consequences. This final capability draws the previous five into something durable: a working relationship with yourself that holds, regardless of who is in the room or what is at stake.
